Route 5.

trip in Perigord from the campsite to Cadouin, Beaumont, Lalinde, and Limeuil.
This road is not with advising if you seek calms it. It is a pretty road, but very attended.
In Limeuil don’t hesitate to park the car to contemplate the confluence of the rivers the Dordogne and Veyzère.

While leaving the camp-site, on the right towards Lidl, and on the right towards Le Buisson.
Follow D25 up to Cadouin : pleasant center of town with small stores (e.a. modern art).
Here you can also visit the impressive church, and (if you want) visit the abbey (you have to pay for it). It seems “imposing” but actually you see only the garden and a named part the “frequentation”. This one is very old and has many authentic elements (la chaise de l’évêque) but quite bad state.

Continue D25 to Beaumont. In the center you have for the first time the vaults from the country house. One can also visit a beautiful church.

Via D660 and D703 you arrive in Lalinde. A pleasant place at the edge of the Dordogne. Lalinde has a pretty downtown area and good restaurants.

Then, back "home" straight on by D703, turn right, follow D31, beautiful view on (Cingle de Trémolat) and across little villages Mauzac, Millac, Trémolat and Limeuil.

It is pleasant to park there, but by avoiding the center (paying parking lot). Continue towards Bugue, and just after the turn you can park free

Don’t forget to go to the little beach. There are also little terraces with the sight on the two rivers ! A splendid road, and above all, very calm.
From Limeuil by D703 you’re back to Le Bugue.
And its famous campsite le rocher de la Granelle….
