Pedestrian excursions

The neighbourhoods of Le Bugue are perfectly set for rambles or bicycle. The tourist office prepared ten roads, on sale in French and English.

You can also find pedestrian maps in the tourism office of Le Bugue, with a lot of itinaries for beginners or "pros" walkers !
Below two excursions found by John, and checked every year.

 
Both of them are beautiful. Silence, panoramas to let you breathless and pure nature will give you much pleasure !

One of them leads you via the "Barah Bahau Cave" in the middle of nature and small villages like "La Douche".
 

 
The other one, a little bit longer, goes back of the "Pit of Proumessac" (with places picnic, toilets and restaurant) and the small village of Audrix with its mountains and its valleys where practically nobody comes.
While you are walking, you can see any « Bories ».
From which is the adress’s name or your favorite campsite.
What is that ? You will discover them on this path. You will appreciate it !
 

By large sun, do not forget to take sufficient water, a cap and a small scarf around your neck against sunstrokes!
