What to do in Le Bugue ?
Whithout going further, Le Bugue a lot of attractions to offer.
What about a particular mini-golf track, one of the biggest private aquariums in Europe, and the artisanal village "Le Bournat" !
And you know what? They are three of them one beside the other and you can go there by walking !
They are also plenty of other things to see in Le Bugue.
While your visits, don’t forget to tell them that advertising on my website is free,
and that I don’t understand why they don’t want to put on it their pictures and textes….
Seems quite strange…They surely have too much customers…..
Way to centre town. After the bridge on the right, and first on the right.
Usely, you always find a place available to park.
Or let your car at the carpark of the centre town.
Go downstairs to the docks of the Vézère, and follow them up to the Aquarium (less than 1 Km).
Mini-golf.
Close to the Aquarium there is left a ludic course of miniature golf.
You play there on a green carpet. There are five concrete tracks for children.
If you like “fish” (not to eat, but to look at)
then I advise you to buy a ticket combi with the aquarium.
L’ Aquarium.
It was called “the largest aquarium of Europe”.
But don’t forget to precise “private fresh water aquarium”.
To tell the truth, you will find here all the fish which swim out of European water.
very well positioned for the amateurs.
Le village du Bournat.
Very amazing for older or younger ones. You find a French description at the reception.
Vous visit a perfect copy of a French village 1n the beginning of 1900’s.
Nice collection of tools and machines of the old times, houses carefully arranged and hangars.
Craftsmen work in front of you ancestral way. (they are not original ones, be sure !).
That’s not always the same trades according to days of the week, consult planning at the entry.
For youngers (up to 70 years old) small kindergarten old man-play is arranged.
They can have fun with a simple horse-gear, mirrors, jets of balls, etc….
Swing which makes a full rotation is with accompaniment of the parents.
SSS (Sacro Sainte Safety) obliges, but I’ve never heard about one child falled for all the 20th century….
Between le village du Bournat and the aquarium is a snackbar stocked well !
Nice to find out energy after all these efforts.
